Fragment is the result of my final year project, an invitation to overcome the linguistic and cultural barriers in Brussels, a city rich in diversity but where genuine encounters remain rare. Inspired by the dynamic neighborhood and a historic venue, the R2 gallery, a former bank in the city center, this project creates a flexible space designed to encourage collaboration among creatives from all backgrounds.
Through mobile panels, light curtains, and an adjustable system of hanging tables, Fragment offers a versatile environment where architects, stylists, artists, and designers can meet, share, and co-create. The design highlights the existing architecture while adding light and warmth to ambiguous areas, transforming every corner into a place of inspiration and connection.
Fragment is more than just a workspace; it’s a catalyst for ideas and encounters ,a bridge across languages, disciplines, and passions that makes Brussels vibrate differently.
