KAI
explores the untapped potential of mussel shells, an abundant waste in Belgium, by transforming them into innovative materials through blending with natural binders. By combining these materials with other supports like wood, I reinterpret everyday objects to create designs that are aesthetic, functional, and environmentally conscious.
This project invites us to rethink consumption and value what we already have, revealing the hidden beauty of local waste through responsible and creative design.
